Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services offered by Jay's Mobile Wash ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our mobile detailing services, website, and any related services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Service Description

Jay's Mobile Wash provides mobile car detailing services throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Our services include various detailing packages, ceramic coating, paint correction, and other automotive appearance services as described on our website and service materials.

2. Scheduling and Cancellation

2.1 Scheduling

Services can be scheduled through our website, by phone, or by email. All appointments are subject to confirmation and availability.

2.2 Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price.

2.3 No-Shows

If you fail to be present at the scheduled appointment location and time, and we are unable to contact you, you may be charged a no-show fee equal to the full price of the scheduled service.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Pricing

All prices are as listed on our website or in our service materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are subject to change without notice.

3.2 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Excessive dirt, pet hair, or other conditions requiring additional time or materials
  • Biohazard cleaning (vomit, urine, etc.) requiring specialized cleaning procedures
  • Travel fees for locations beyond our standard service area
  • Card processing fees of 1.75% on all transactions

3.3 Payment Methods

We accept payment via cash, credit card, debit card, and mobile payment applications. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.

4. Service Conditions

4.1 Access Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that our detailers have access to:

  • The vehicle being serviced
  • Adequate space around the vehicle (approximately 15 feet) for our equipment
  • A safe working environment

4.2 Vehicle Preparation

You agree to remove all personal belongings from your vehicle prior to service. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

4.3 Service Completion

We will make reasonable efforts to complete services within the estimated timeframe. However, completion times may vary based on the vehicle's condition and other factors.

5. Guarantees and Limitations

5.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee our work and will make reasonable efforts to address any concerns within 48 hours of service completion, provided that:

  • The service was performed in adequate lighting conditions
  • Any issues are reported within 24 hours of service completion
  • The vehicle has not been exposed to new contaminants or conditions after service

5.2 Limitations

We cannot guarantee:

  • Removal of deeply embedded stains or damage
  • Correction of pre-existing paint damage or defects
  • Results for services performed in inadequate lighting conditions
  • Longevity of results if proper maintenance recommendations are not followed

6. Liability

Jay's Mobile Wash carries comprehensive insurance coverage. However, we shall not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage not noted before service
  • Damage resulting from normal detailing procedures on vehicles with pre-existing weakened components
  • Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
  • Consequential or incidental damages

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
